Sylha was a company ran by Sylvia Halpern (nee Black, Australian, b.1918 - d.2000) and her husband Polish immigrant Artur Halpern (b.1908 - d.1976), producing pottery in Melbourne during the 1950s to the 1970s. Today, Sylvia's daughter Debbie (b.1957) is also a noted sculptor with many public installations around Melbourne.
