Phoenix Collective, concerts that excite & inspire. A Canberra-based ensemble that performs across Australia from prestigious opera houses, national folk festivals and concerts for the vulnerable and homeless at Wayside Chapel. The ensemble is led by violinist Dan Russell.

The Phoenix Collective offers a feast of genres and styles. From the virtuosic flair of Italian Baroque to the purity of folk music; from French Impressionism to the intense emotions of the Romantic period; from contemporary/jazz fusion to the meditative calm of minimalism. Phoenix

performs with a sense of intimacy, engaging stage presence and vivid musicality.

There is no substitute for live music.

A perennial favourite, Vivaldi���s classic work is performed in its entirety by soloist Dan Russell and PCQ. From the icy winds of winter to the tempestuous summer storms, these works carry the listener on a journey full of extremes. Inspired by the poems that originally influenced Vivaldi���s composition, PCQ���s performance is full of character, nuance and expression.
