Minty was a Canberra-based artist and teacher whose practice was inspired by the landscape. A long-time member of organisations such as the Artist Society of Canberra and the Artist Society of Queanbeyan, Minty was awarded an OAM in recognition of her services to the arts. Peg Minty Circuit in the Canberra suburb of Weston bears her name.
