ID - 352539 - 1860s 9th Lancashire Rifle Volunteers Officers Uniform Belonging to Charles John Burgess (1836 ��� 1905). Burgess Served in the 46th Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War and Survived the Siege of Sevastopol before Joining the 9th Lancashire Rifle Volunteers as a Captain & Adjutant in 1864. Burgess Went on to Become a Major in the Honourable Artillery Company in 1873.

Uniform has been Inspected by Experienced Textile Conservator and is in Excellent Condition for its Age. Details of Inspection Available Upon Request. Documentation and Timeline of Burgess��� Military Service Also Provided.

Mannequin and Protective Cover Also Included.
