Possibly an embossing or lithograph press

Marked for John Esson of Fetter Lane, London, a known 19th century English manufacturer and engineer of presses and other printing equipment.

As found, rustic condition but no doubt still very useful and well made!

All appear in excellent vintage condition with light wear; all pieces signed to base, purportedly acquired directly from Japan c.1920s-1940s, hence the lack of export marks to base (as required by law at the time to indicate foreign origin)
